Return Policy

We do not take responsibility for bows or ornaments.

Shoes not worn may be returned for a full refund within our return policy window.

Shoes purchased in the store may be returned for 3 days. For the first day after purchase, we will issue a full refund. The next 2 days will produce a store credit that is valid for 6 months.

For instore pickup orders, returns are accepted for up to 3 days. For a return the day after pickup, we will issue a refund. For days 2 and 3, Step in Elegance will issue store credit (valid for 6 months).

For other online orders, we gladly accept returns. Create a return on our website within 7 days for receiving your package. It must shipped back immediately thereafter.

When a customer did not pay for shipping for orders of at least $150, if the customer does not keep at least $150 the refund on the return will be reduced by the cost of shipment to the customer.

Current season sale shoes can only be exchanged. However, some sales are Final Sale Only; check the Website Home Page.

Outlet shoes and past season shoes are Final Sale - no returns..

Return labels are paid for by customer. After producing your return label, you can click HERE if you want to set up a FREE USPS pickup.

Orders may be returned in the store during business hours, but for online orders other than instore pickup, a Return Must Be Created via the Start Return Link at the bottom of our website, or click here.
